05Financial & Business Information
As a bookkeeping and accounting firm, part of our service involves receiving, reviewing, and reconciling financial and business records on behalf of our clients. This may include bank and credit card transaction data, invoices, receipts, payroll records, and similar financial documentation that clients provide to us or grant us access to (for example, through a linked bank or card feed or accounting software platform) in the course of engagement.
We use this information solely to perform the bookkeeping and accounting services our clients have engaged us to provide. We do not use client financial or business records for advertising or marketing purposes, and we do not sell this information.
We take reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect client financial and business information consistent with the sensitivity of that data, including using secure, access-controlled platforms for exchanging financial documents.
Please do not send Social Security numbers, tax IDs, bank logins or passwords by regular email or text message. We will give you a secure way to share them when they are needed. Where payroll or contractor work requires a tax ID, we handle it only through secure, access-controlled tools and only as needed for the work.
06How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as accounting and bookkeeping software platforms, payment processors, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, website hosting providers, email service providers, and scheduling platforms. These providers are given access only to the information needed to perform their function and are expected to protect it accordingly.
- Legal or government authorities, when required to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, or respond to a valid legal process (such as a subpoena or court order).
- A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of some or all of our business assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
07Cookies & Analytics

08Data Security
We maintain administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. This includes access controls that limit who within the organization can view client data, and reputable third-party software platforms with their own security measures. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to us or stored in our systems.
If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

- Client financial and accounting records are generally retained for up to 7 years to comply with standard North American tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations.
- Website inquiry and contact-form information is generally retained for as long as needed to respond to the inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for our business records.
